Our History

Olive oil production is a centuries-old tradition in Vila Velha de Ródão. To keep alive this true heritage bequeathed by our predecessors, the Urgueira Estate has opened up to tourists. Olive tourism is a way to create the perfect symbiosis of the best the region has to offer.

Olive Tourism

Olive tourism is one of the Urgueira Estate’s main activities. To this end, the estate installed a replica olive press to serve as the theme for the development of a set of initiatives that seek to make the most of tourist interest in this product.
